Luckily, the answer is not necessarily complicated.
Which sunco race fuel do i put in a motorcycle. Most new cars today can run on regular 87 octane because those engines are designed for that kind of fuel. As the official fuel of nascar, sunoco is known for quality fuel that keeps you moving.
I have not seen it at the marinas. Without getting into too many specifics, and debating opinions, my advice is that you can always benefit with a race fuel, wether it be a 50/50 percentage, or whatever you think runs well in your situation, as long as you do it consistently, and jet the bike accordingly. The only thing i have found is this and vp racing fuel. Here is the excerpt from the nhra approved racing fuels list:
Nevertheless, for pro stock and pro stock motorcycle classes, the only approved racing fuel is sunoco sr18. U may be hearing detonation and thats the tick. Race fuel has a much higher octane than pump gas because those engines have higher compression ratios. Sometimes they are a small part of the fuel and sometimes they are a primary component of the fuel.
Could be, or could be u just hearing things too. Whether you fill up with regular (87 octane), plus (89 octane), premium (91 octane), or ultra® 93 grade. Race fuel has a very good. Can i store my fuel through the winter?
To protect the integrity of the fuel for long term storage. Unlike pump gas, t4 contains no ethanol, so it won’t clog fuel injectors or go bad when stored for long periods of time. Quality is just one of the reasons why the world's top drivers choose sunoco fuels. I use it in my crf450, but mix it with superul.
Sunoco sr18 sunoco maxnos sunoco maximal 260 gtx is a good fuel for many applications that need more detonation protection than typical street gas provides, yet cannot use a leaded fuel. I currently use shell 92 octane pump gas with stihl ultra oil. I do run moto mix when i put the saw away for the week or whatever. If u want more ummp then there are lots of low octane racing. The race fuel mixing chart in the performance manual would leave me to believe they expect us to use a higher than 100 octane (gt260 plus or ms109) and mix with the existing fuel in the tank.
Standard race fuel (vp c12, c14, sunoco 104, 100ll avgas even high octane pump gas 96 or 100) ran straight on a stock rc51 motor will actually lose horsepower. What's in your tank matters. I was ready to load the car up and head home! Could be cam chain or tensioner.
We put it to the test. Find a gas station near you, apply for a credit card, or sign up for a rewards card today. I also like to put a quality fuel in my generator and not have to start it once a month or so, or drain it. Top fuel, funny car, pro stock and pro stock motorcycle. Doing so would make a leaded fuel which could still damage oxygen sensors and catalytic converters. The answer to #2 requires a little math. For long term storage lined drums prohibit rust, corrosion and metal deposits that can contaminate fuel delivery systems.
I have been using this mixing chart and mixing the last 1/4 tank of pump 94 octane with 5 gallons ms109 for a 100 octane mix. This is argued by many because the throttle response becomes crisper & is often mistaken for more performance when in truth the bike is making less power on the dyno sometimes by as much. Sunoco puts put a tremendous amount of care and precision into the race fuels we manufacture for the nhra, and then they burn it up in just about four seconds. I believe i filled up with an octane between 105 and 110 (and laughed at the kid putting 130 into his mom's civic).
Drums are shipped truck freight and 5 gallon or less is shipped ups. The answer to #1 is easy. Unless u have higher compression than stock, no need for anything over 93 on streets. Sunoco is now the exclusive provider of racing fuel for all of the nhra's professional racing classes:

Yes, you can mix any of our race fuels. That’s the short version of why lead is used in some racing fuels. We get a lot of questions about fuel metering changes required for oxygenated fuels… and that is a good thing, because racers should be asking those questions.
